Entry Level Customer Service - Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager position is a concentrated training and development program that will teach you the ins and outs of Hope Street's award-winning Property Management system. We combine task-based learning, guidance from management, and peer mentorship to ensure your success.
Hope Street Real Estate Corp is looking to employ a confident and qualified individual who is eager to begin a career in Real Estate Property Management. The Assistant Property Manager postion is within our Calgary beltline office, and is the entry-level postion for our Property Management Team.

This position starts at $17/ hour. Once graduated from the training program, the successful candidate can expect to earn $19/ hour after one year.
Vendor / Service Provider/ Trades
Most of Hope Street's Property Maintenance is done by our Maintenance Managers... but they can't do everything. Sometimes we need the help of a specialist.
As a Residential Property Manager, Hope Street maintains a database of Preferred Vendors. We rank companies that we have done business with in the past, based on responsiveness, competitive pricing, and services offered. If you do good work for a good price, we'll likely call you back. Some providers are needed more often than others. We may already have a good relationship with someone in your field, however we do want to have more than one vendor per field, just in case.

Maintenance Manager / Handyman
Are you a handyman with great people skills? Looking for an opportunity to meet new people every day? Do you want to provide tenants with better, safer places to live, while improving the value of the homeowner's investment? Do you want to work with the latest technology?
This position is a key member of Hope Street?s in-house Maintenance Team, and instrumental to the management and upkeep of our clients? properties. It is a customer service job first and foremost, so communication skills are just as important as handyman skills. We provide the latest technology to make ?paperwork? nearly instant; we track everything, but we don?t have mountains of paper. Our Maintenance Team is 99% paperless, allowing us to focus on getting the job done right.
Skills and Experience
Must have a clean driver's abstract, no criminal record, and access to a reliable, appropriate vehicle
